Daiwa Capital Markets appoints new head of secured financing
Christopher Owen joins investment banking arm of Daiwa Securities Group
Daiwa Capital Markets has named Christopher Owen the new head of secured financing for its global equity finance franchise. Owen will be based in London, reporting to Charlie Day, head of European and Middle Eastern derivatives and head of global equity finance.
Prior to joining Daiwa, Owen worked as executive director of financing products management and chief operating officer of prime services at Nomura. He was also head of collateral trading at HSBC, and held senior roles at JP Morgan and
