Daiwa hires senior credit trader from Nomura
James Godfrey is joining Daiwa Securities SMBC Europe as executive director for credit trading. He will trade the corporate Eurobond book and will also lead the firm’s push into electronic trading in the credit markets.
Godfrey was previously at Nomura International where he was head of credit flow trading, responsible for global trading of high grade financials and corporates. Prior to that he was at Commerzbank and UBS, based in London.
