SG CIB makes two hires for equity derivatives team

Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB) has hired two staff for its equity derivatives department.

The bank has named Arié Boleslawski as head of the exotic trading desk for equity, indexes and funds in Europe, and Selim Mehrez as head of pricing and new products for equity derivatives in Europe.Boleslawski joins in a newly created position based in Paris. He will report to Richard Quessette, global head of exotic trading and deputy head of trading in the equity derivatives division. Prior to this, Boleslawski was head of exotic credit trading at Deutsche Bank in London, a role he had held since July 2006. Mehrez arrives from Goldman Sachs, where he was head of its European structuring team since November 2007. At SG CIB, he will take up a position previously occupied by Emmanuel Naim, who has been appointed head of engineering, equity structured products. Based in Paris, Mehrez will report to Arnaud Sarfati, head of engineering, Europe.
