Pierre Mendelsohn, Morgan Stanley's former global head of retail structured products and Hong Kong-based head of Asia equity derivatives distribution, has resurfaced to launch his own independent advisory shop, Alpima. The London-based firm will focus on systematic investing for institutional investors.
