About the course
To liken foreign exchange to a machine would be an apt metaphor, both are a system of interdependent parts where everything is simultaneously changing. For professionals who are not working in the FX market daily, understanding this machine can be a bear of a task. This course aims to simplify the foundations of FX.
Participants will explore the integral characteristics of FX such as swaps, options, futures and more while making connections to other aspects of finance. Being that FX is one of the deepest liquidity markets, participants will identify the G10 and discuss the role of central banks and restricted currencies. This analysis will provide participants with the knowledge to begin navigating the FX market and aid in the comparison on means of execution, focusing on the pros and cons.
