No global systemically important bank (G-Sib) in Europe would see any immediate capital benefit from plans to introduce a waiver for intra-eurozone exposures, according to regulation experts and data analysis by Risk.net, although they might in the future depending on how their business evolves.

The end-2017 figures analysed are from the same dataset used by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) to assign capital buffers to G-Sibs by designating them to four separate buckets.
