CCP open access debate rears its head once again in draft rules spun out of Mifid

A controversial rule mandating open access to clearing houses has re-emerged in new draft regulation spun out from the European Union's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid). The inclusion of two new clauses comes less than six months after a similar requirement was removed from the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (Emir).
