Following the G-20 London summit, it is clear there will be tighter controls and oversight of hedge funds, and increasing demands for more transparency. Margie Lindsay, editor of Hedge Funds Review, looks at the future of hedge fund regulation

LONDON - The aftermath of the London Group of 20 summit has raised questions about the scope and depth of hedge fund regulation. While it is clear the global financial community, in the form of the renamed Financial Stability Board (FSB), will be at the centre of the new regulatory oversight of hedge funds, it is uncertain what this actually means.
