Risk España Survey 2015: All quiet on the clearing front

Attitudes towards the future prospect of mandatory clearing appear to be fairly static across the Spanish market, according to responses to Risk Espana’s 2015 survey. Yet institutions are reaping the benefits of greater transparency and increased risk disclosure

Patience is the watchword of the year when it comes to banking regulation. Whereas the last 12 months were characterised by frantic activity to ensure over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange-traded derivatives were reported in line with European Market Infrastructure Regulation (Emir), 2015 promises to be a quieter affair.
