CME’s head of OTC products and services is expected to take up a senior position at Icap at critical juncture for electronic swaps trading

Laurent Paulhac

Laurent Paulhac, CME Group's senior managing director for interest rate and over-the-counter products and services, is leaving the US exchange giant and is expected to take a senior role at interdealer broker Icap, Risk has learned.

It is thought Paulhac will assume a senior role in electronic trading at Icap, as it seeks to establish itself as one of the early market leaders in the electronic trading of interest rate swaps and other OTC products via its swap execution facility.
