Patsystems saga continues

Patsystems’ extraordinary general meeting, requisitioned by a group of disgruntled shareholders on February 11 this year, has been postponed until March 23.

The inopportune timing of the EGM, coupled with the possible removal of chief executive, David Jones, is likely to jeopardise the ongoing discussions with an undisclosed number of prospective clients, as well as effectively curtailing the company’s financial support by a group of City-based shareholders opposed to the motion.

Proposals include the removal of Jones and Stewart Douglas-Mann as company directors and the appointment of Gary Brecka and Joe Solari as their replacements.
