Amundi enters Spanish ETF market

Paris-based asset manager Amundi ETF has made its debut in the Spanish exchange-traded funds (ETF) market by launching five ETFs.

Though the Spanish market for ETFs is one of the least developed in Europe, investors there are increasingly receptive to exchange-traded products (ETPs) and despite recent weaker figures on the Spanish equity market (the stock market fell to a three-year low on April 13), there is room for growth in ETFs, says Valerie Baudson, Paris-based managing director at Amundi
