Eurex traded 39.1 million equity derivatives contracts in June, 23.7 million of which were equity index derivatives, and 15.4 million were related to equity options. “The Italian equity options segment, which was expanded in February, achieved a new record of 16,170 contracts,” said Eurex.

The DJ Euro Stoxx 50 equity index product saw turnover of 11 million contracts, up roughly 22% month-on-month, said Eurex.
