Fitch launches online credit derivatives tool

Fitch, the international rating agency, today launched a new web-based service providing data and analysis for the credit derivatives market.

The website, FitchCDx.com, gathers all the agency’s analysis and research on credit derivatives in one place, Fitch said.

Features of the site include weekly credit default swap prices and a list of the top 100 referenced entities derived from Fitch's index of rated synthetic collateralised debt obligations.

It also provides research and analysis tools and market commentary.

"Credit derivatives is one of the fastest growing segments of the fixed-income markets,” said Robert Grossman, chief credit officer at Fitch. "This research platform gives users unique access to a combination of market information and fundamental analysis."
