FVC review: Investec launches capital-protected FTSE 100 note

Digital-style product places a 17% cap on returns but investors’ capital is protected at maturity

Investec Structured Products has released a four-year capital-protected product with a digital-style payout linked to the FTSE 100 index. It offers a fixed return of 17% at maturity if the final level of the index is above its initial level. Capital is protected and will be returned to investors irrespective of the final index level, subject to the credit risk of the issuer.
