MSCI reintroduces Saudi Arabia indexes

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has allowed MSCI to create and issue Saudi Arabian domestic equity market indexes

MSCI ties down agreement with Saudi exchange

Index provider MSCI has reached an agreement with Saudi Arabia's stock exchange (Tadawul) for the provision of market data, sanctioning the reintroduction of its Saudi domestic equity market index series.

MSCI calculated its first Saudi Arabia equity index in 2007, but ceased calculation in September 2010 following a dispute with the exchange.
