People: Luc Francois leaves Morgan Stanley

Luc Francois, global head of equity derivatives at Morgan Stanley in London, has left the bank to "pursue other opportunities", according to a spokesperson. Francois left the bank in mid-December and will not be replaced. Alvise Munari remains global head of equity derivatives distribution in London and Pierre Mendelsohn global head of the retail structured product platform in Hong Kong.

Morgan Stanley reshuffled its global equities team in March 2011, with Francois moving to focus exclusively
