Certificates lift Nordic Growth Market trading activity to record highs

The Nordic Growth Market in Sweden has reported record high turnover in November for the fourth consecutive month.

Record highs in Swedish product turnover

The Swedish investment products market soared in November, with the turnover of products traded on the Nordic Growth Market (NGM) jumping to Skr2.4 billion (€263 million) in November, a 352% rise from the Skr500 million traded in the same month in 2009.

The rise in trading activity during the year is due to the introduction of bull and bear certificates, issued by Commerzbank, Nordea, Öhman and Handelsbanken on the exchange earlier this year, and the mini futures issued by RBS, according to
