Quick hopes Japanese-language offering will attract regional banks

Data provider Quick will launch a trade affirmation service for swaps users in the Japanese market on February 15 after receiving authorisation from the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation (JSCC), the leading domestic over-the-counter derivatives clearing house.

The new service, dubbed Quick Confirmation, will enable swaps participants to exchange trade data and confirm their trades before sending swaps to the JSCC for clearing. The global market for this service is dominated by MarkitWire
