Isda pursues information missing from TriOptima rates repository

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association has canvassed external legal counsel from the Group of 20 (G-20) countries on their individual data privacy laws, which may have prevented full disclosure of trade data to the Interest Rate Trade Reporting Repository, launched by Swedish technology company TriOptima in December.

The repository was created to meet an industry commitment made to regulators in June 2009 to report all interest rate derivatives to a repository by December 31, 2009
