Despite industry appeals for more time on EU-wide clearing consultation, EC refuses an extension

The European Commission has refused to extend the feedback deadline for its EU-wide clearing framework consultation, provoking widespread industry frustration.

Since the consultation’s publication on February 8, market participants and industry associations have begged the commission to extend the March 8 feedback deadline by at least another month – to no avail.
