Dr. Florian Kiesel is a Post-Doc researcher at the Chair of Corporate Finance at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He studied mechanical engineering with business administration and he received a doctoral degree in corporate finance of the Technical University of Darmstadt. His primary research interest is in the area of corporate finance and empirical finance with a special focus on the impact of credit ratings and risk management on firm value, in particular since the financial crisis. In addition, he analyzes regulatory changes in Europe with a focus on the credit default swap market and short-selling regulations.
