Dr. Hernández-Bastida received his PhD in Mathematics (Statistics) from the University of Granada in Spain. He has taught at the Faculty of Economics in Granada since 1979. He has published many research papers on Bayesian Analysis Robustness, Insurance and operational risk, to name but a few. Recently his research is focused on areas related to Bayesian Analysis and its application to Actuarial Science.
