Georgios Charalampous

George Charalampous obtained his BA in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and his MSc in Energy Management from International Hellenic University. He studied for six months at FCN (Future Energy Consumer Needs and Behavior) Institute, part of E.ON Energy Research Center in RWTH Aachen University, where his Thesis was published as a working paper. The underlying work was presented at both the 14th IAEE European Conference held in Rome and the Energy Finance 2014 Conference held in Erice. With regard to his professional experience, George worked for over one year at the European Consumer Organization (BEUC) in Brussels as an energy consultant, obtaining valuable experience in European energy policy. He is now a commercial analyst at National Grid, the British TSO, responsible for optimizing the portfolio of cross-border electricity products and working on regulatory compliance projects.
