Hedge Funds Review Service Provider Rankings 2013 open for voting

Hedge Funds Review Service Provider Rankings cover a wide range of services including prime brokerage, fund administration and accountancy. They give an insight into what managers and investors value

rankings

Now in their third year, the Service Provider Rankings offer hedge fund managers and investors into hedge funds the opportunity to vote for their favourite service providers.

In previous years the rankings have attracted a high calibre of respondents. In 2012 more than 30% of respondents were in C-level positions. Respondents represented a good cross-section of the industry by asset size, geography and sector.

The results also provide an insight into which providers are offering exceptional service to the industry. For some categories providers are ranked on certain aspects of the service they provide. This year's rankings will offer the same unique view on this segment of the hedge funds industry, looking at specific services by fund administrators, prime brokers, accountants, legal services and managed account and Ucits platform providers.

The results of the survey will show not only who is the preferred service provider in a number of categories but should also give an insight into where clients would like to see improvements and what aspects of offerings are most valued.

This year the survey also includes voting for most favoured trading venue in the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific and emerging markets.

In 2012 some of the results were split to identify the top provider selected by US and European voters, revealing different preferences on either side of the Atlantic. This gives an even better understanding of manager and investor preferences.

Also included in the rankings are technology and research.

Individuals from single-manager hedge fund or fund of hedge funds (FoHF) organisations and investors (for example, family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, asset allocators) who invest into hedge funds are eligible to vote.

Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes.

The closing date for voting is October 14, 2013.

The results of the rankings will be available in a special report to be published online.
