Investors want hedge funds to help build portfolio solutions

Investors have changed the way they use hedge funds in their portfolios. Not only are institutional investors evaluating hedge funds differently, they are looking to managers to provide investment solutions rather than just a performance bounce to overall portfolio returns.

Strategies that can deliver attractive returns with low volatility and address portfolio issues such as high correlation, limited liquidity and matching return streams with liabilities are the most sought after.
