BIS Regulatory Update Reflects Advances In Risk Management

BASLE--The Basle Committee of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has published an new version of its Framework for Supervisory Information of Trading and Derivatives Activities. The document updates the BIS's original 1995 guidelines to address recent advances in risk management theory and practice, including new recommendations on market risk exposures and the use of credit derivatives.
