Watchdogs risk ‘falling behind the curve’, secretary-general warns; FSB also working on guidance

Global regulators have begun the process of developing fresh guidance for market participants and national supervisors on the use and regulation of artificial intelligence, says the head of the umbrella body for securities watchdogs, taking into account AI’s potential implications for market integrity, investor protection and financial stability.
