Charlie Shin, Seoul-based managing director and head of Korea equity derivatives at Credit Suisse, is understood to have left the bank in December.

According to sources, the equity derivatives division at Credit Suisse has been struggling this year amid losses in the equity-linked securities business. Between June and September, the Swiss bank also closed down its Korean equity-linked warrants business after volumes dried up following a regulatory clampdown.
